Hello. 2 two teachers and five 9.th-graders from Gentofte Municipality (Denmark) are going to visit Manchester (UK)-area in february 2015. Does anyone know about VL-schools in Manchester area?
Hello all. I have just joined this community and am eager to share with schools around the world our respective Visible Learning school journeys. I am head teacher of Bader Primary School in the UK. We are working with Osiris Educational, looking to implement John Hattie's brilliant learning + principles. I have started a blog and I am hoping that professionals from around the world might pay us a visit and comment http://visiblelearning.mybaderblog.net/

Recent in the news hub, an interview with principal Sheryl Ofner on Radio Live where she talks about how the work of John Hattie and Visible Learning has transformed her school in Auckland, NZ.

I had a wee look around the Internet and found an article which suggests:
Just posted this in the News section here - Chris Pyne is keen to overhaul the Australian curriculum with "our Asian competitors" in mind.
I'm not so sure that curriculum is the most important driver when it comes to the job market, even on an international scale. Plenty of careers require more than a history of top marks.
