Visible Learning into Action for Teachers

95% of everything we do in class works. But what works best?

What is it worth spending our time, energy and resources on? In this workshop you’ll learn what makes the greatest difference. You’ll use evidence from your class to understand the impact you are having on your learners and what you can do to work smarter rather than harder.

Day One

Are your students assessment capable, visible learners? Are they making progress with their learning? How do you know? You’ll be introduced to a range of tools and strategies to help you answer these questions including using effect sizes. You’ll plan a Visible Learning impact cycle which you’ll action in your school.

Between day one and two you’ll implement in your school the Visible Learning impact cycle you planned during day one.

Day Two

You’ll focus on: To what extent am I an inspired, passionate and impactful teacher? Do I have a Visible Learning classroom? You’ll be introduced to a new set of tools, strategies and resources, and you’ll have time to plan your next impact cycle which will focus on further developing your teaching and your Visible Learning classroom.

To be eligible to register for these workshops, participants should have attended Foundation Day.
